Blake Shelton & Luke Bryan to Host ACM Awards April 7th on CBS

THE 47TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

This year, Luke Bryan will join Blake Shelton to co-host country music’s party of the year, the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The country music extravaganza will air on CBS, April 7, at 8 PM ET/PT.Shelton, the ACM’s reigning male vocalist of the year, will mark his third consecutive year of hosting, while it will be a first time gig for Bryan. If that’s not enough country goodness for you, Brad Paisley will also be hosting the 3rd Annual ACM Fan Jam.

Before we all start shouting out for our favorite from the trio, let’s take a look at how they stack up on Last.fm.

Luke Bryan

Drunk On You Lyrics
The cotton wood fallin' like snow in July
Sunset, riverside, four wheel drive and a tail light circle
Roll down the windows, turn it on up
Poor a little Crown in a Dixie cup
Get the party, started

Luke Bryan has pulled in an admirable 3.8 million scrobbles to date. Currently, his top track is “Drunk on You.”

Blake Shelton

Honey Bee Lyrics
Girl, I been thinkin' 'bout us
And you know I ain't good at this stuff
But these feelings piling up won't give me no rest

This might come out a little crazy

Blake is currently edging out Luke by almost half a million plays, sitting at 4.3 million scrobbles. Right now (and for the foreseeable future), Blake’s top track on Last.fm is “Honey Bee.”

Brad Paisley

Southern Comfort Zone Lyrics
When your wheelhouse is the land of cotton,
The first time you leave it can be strange, it can be shocking

Not everybody drives a truck, not everybody drinks sweet tea
Not everybody owns a gun, wears a ball cap boots and jeans

When it comes to this country trio, Brad Paisley clearly rules the roost on Last.fm. With 8.4 million scrobbles, he has more than Luke and Bryan combined, something we’re sure he’d be happy to point out to them. Brad’s current top track on Last.fm is “Southern Comfort Zone.”

If you can’t wait until April to see more of Brad, check out his full Live on Letterman concert.

Mark your calendars for April 7th, to watch the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on CBS at 8 PM. Until then, you can keep coming back right here for all your updates.
