The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, aka Jazz Fest is an annual event that celebrates the city's rich musical history. While there's lots of jazz, nearly every other genre - including rock, hip-hop, blues, and folk is also represented given the region's diverse and eclectic heritage. This year's fest included rousing performances by Grace Potter, Gov't Mule, Janelle Monae, Steely Dan, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Maxwell, Van Morrison, Nick Jonas, Elle King and many more.
