Discover 4 Acts With… Murkage

As well as our interview with Delilah at Parklife Festival last weekend, we also chatted to Manchester locals Murkage at the Reebok Classics stage about four acts they are loving at the moment. The rap group took the mainstage at Parklife by storm and will also be appearing at various festivals across Europe over the summer.

1. Lapalux
“I’m feeling this guy, he’s hot right now. I think he’s from Essex… sonically he’s on another level for me.”

3. Kendrick Lamar
“He’s so hard in this thing! He’s owning rap as we speak. No man can test him at the moment!”

4. RedLight
“Obviously I want to big up RedLight. He’s not new but I play RedLight records like they’re my blood, they’re so banging!”

5. Wu Lyf
“We wanna big up Wu Lyf. He’s one of our Manchester guys and, ya know, even though our music is so different I’m such a fan. The mentality is exactly the same – breaking down the old and bringing something new. Thinking as big as you can. Wu Lyf all day every day! They are a massive influence for us.”
