Last.fm Tag of the Week: Lollapalooza
Music takes centre stage this weekend in Chicago, with the like of Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Black Keys topping an impressive bill for the annual Lollapalooza festival.
Having started in 1991 by the lead singer of Jane’s Addiction, Perry Farell, the festival held in Grant Park has successfully grown to be one of the biggest and most recognized music festivals in the U.S. Credited for pulling in top talent, as well as offering a stage for up and coming artists this year’s lineup for Lollapalooza is no different.

First up is ‘Otherside’ by headline act the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Found on their seventh studio album released all the way back in 1999 titled ‘Californication’, the funk-rockers are sure to play a career spanning set this weekend in Grant Park.
Next up is ‘My Seventh Rib’ by indie darlings The Shins. One of their lesser known tracks with only 40,711 listeners on last.fm, fans will be hoping they play the hits when they take to the stage later today.
And finally, ‘Always Like This’ springs to life on the Lollapalooza radio station. Performed by English act Bombay Bicycle Club, the four-piece will be taking to the stage on Sunday night.
