Last week Last.fm Live in London welcomed Jon Bates and his band, better known as Big Black Delta, for a very intimate debut London show. Taking to the stage flanked by two drummers it took no time for the Barfly to get into action, with tracks such as “Betamax” and “Put The Gun On The Floor” (which you can grab as a FREE DOWNLOAD) drowning the venue in a sea of gushy synth and fuzzy reverb. They closed the set on the euphoric “IFUCKINGLOVEYOU” leaving the audience in no doubt that they had witnessed the start of something special.
Big Black Delta have just finished some shows in support of M83 in America. Next up they do a run of dates with Jane’s Addiction, including the following two shows:
