A highlight of Last.fm’s CMJ 2012 showcase, Amber Rubarth brought the raw emotion of an Indie artist and warmth and melodies of a string-quartet for an intimate performance at The Living Room.
The is no stranger to a stripped down club gig.  Amber has made her mark in the NY Indie-scene, and has since toured the US, Europe and Japan.

Joined by Dave Eggar on the Cello and Max ZT on the Hammered Dulcimer, Rubarth’s set brought a new dynamic to the showcase. The set consisted of top scrobbled tracks: “Rough Cut”,”Letter From My Lonelier Self” and “Novocaine”, all from her latest release: A Common Case of Disappearing (2011).
