Alas Earwax! is a wizard rock band from the Seattle-ish area formed in April 2007 when one musically-inclined individual randomly decided to summarize all six then-published Harry Potter books in a one-minute rap. He was later invited to open a show for the Parselmouths, wrote a few extra songs to fill time, and it all spiraled out of control from there. Mr Earwax, as his adoring fans call him, released his first CD, “Wands Don’t Kill People…I Do”, in July 2007 when the 7th Harry Potter book was released.
