After playing four shows at this years South By Southwest, Australia’s Gold Fields headed to New York City for shows in Brooklyn and Manhattan and of course, a session with Last.fm Originals. Gold Fields music is a thing of beauty, but it is in a live performance setting where the groups sound truly takes flight. Hooking up with drummer Ryan D’Sylva was the the best move lead singer Mark Robert Fuller and guitarist/vocalist Vin Andanar could have made – these songs started out as basic pop songs, but Ryan’s percussion turned them into the beat-driven gems they are today.
