Hot Hot Heat have delivered their first new studio album in nearly three years, Future Breeds. The record, produced by singer/keyboardist Steve Bays, is their first on Dangerbird Records and echoes the brilliance of their studio debut Makeup The Breakdown.
After parting ways with Sire Records, Hot Hot Heat proceeded to build their own studio, write a lot of material, and make the record they wanted to make. Once the task was complete, next up, shopping it and hooking up with the right label. Dangerbird, home of such artists as Silversun Pickups, Delphic, Minus The Bear, Sea Wolf, and Darker My Love became the band’s choice.
Hot Hot Heat have always impressed with their live shows, and it seems that for the first time they’ve totally captured that sound on disc.
