James Mercer, frontman for legendary indie pop group The Shins, took some time out of his busy schedule promoting the release of the long-awaited fourth Shins album Port of Morrow to stop by the Last.fm studio and treat us to some stripped down acoustic versions of some new and old Shins songs.
The new album is being put out on Mercer’s label Aural Apothecary, distributed by Columbia Records. It has been over five years since Wincing This Night Away so it’s with great anticipation that we welcome James Mercer to our studio!
Sit back and enjoy this captivating session, and if you’re in the mood for more of The Shins check out their Live on Letterman concert!

I told you 'bout all those fears,
