Joel Crouse - Interview

CLIP 10:23 | Aug 27, 2013

Joel Crouse performs for Last.fm

Joel Crouse would seem like an unlikely candidate to  pack up and head to Nashville, country music capital of the world. Growing up the son of a Pastor,  the Boston native had the sounds of country ingrained in his head at an early age. With music being heavily encouraged in his family, Joel picked up a guitar at an early age and wrote his first song by the time he was 14, and found himself signed to a label when he was 19.

Crouse found many of his musical influences through his Grandfather, who introduced him to the great outlaws like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, and classic rock titans such as Fleetwood Mac, and Lynyrd Skynyrd  at a young age.

Joel has already started to make his mark on the Nashville scene, having opened for Taylor Swift, The Band Perry, and Toby Keith
