It wasn’t until his sixth studio album, Some Mad Hope, that he experienced worldwide recognition, off the success of his breakout single “Come On Get Higher.” He spent nearly 3 years of touring that album – quite a long time to devote to one release! – before hunkering down in his studio to flesh out demos for Modern Love</em.
