Having blown us away at this year’s South By Southwest Music Festival, we were looking forward to having New Cassettes stop by for an intimate rock session while in New York City. At SXSW the Northampton, England band pulled off 8 shows in 3 days then hit the road with We Were Promised Jetpacks and Bad Veins for their first trek across the states. Their second album Winterhead was mixed by Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne, Ivy and Tinted Windows along with sound engineer Geoff Sanoff at Stratosphere Sound Recording Studios in NYC.
