The Wombats came back strong with their sophomore album This Modern Glitch. They began work on the album in early 2009, shortly after coming off the road supporting their debut album. With the exception of a few festival appearance and shows here and there, the band concentrated mainly on the album. This was necessary even more so, considering there was no material ready to record going into the sessions. No songs had ever been played live, like they were for A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation. If you dig super-catchy Britpop/rock with keyboards, it doesn’t get any better than this.
