Thompson Square Bring the Country to Last.fm Originals

Country music has a hot new act on the way. Husband and wife duo Thompson Square have been taking over with their sweet and earnest Nashville sound. Keifer Thompson and Shawna Thompson had spent time pursuing solo careers before teaming up – both as musicians and life partners. When they first began playing music together, it was evident from the start that they had found something special. The couple got hitched, formed Thompson Square, and released their debut album on February 8th last year.

We give them the spotlight in the Last.fm Studio to show off a few songs from their self-titled album, as well as sit down for a chat. Watching them play together you can feel the closeness between the two of them – it’s a beautiful thing and it produces some great music!
