We Are Scientists (a.k.a. Chris Cain and Keith Murray, plus drummer Danny Lee Allen) bring their unique strand of indie pop to the Last.fm studio for a performance spotlighting tracks off the new album Barbara. Once you’ve taken that in, prepare yourself for the Chris & Keith Show in our sitdown interview.

Check out live studio performances of “Nice Guys,” “Rules Don’t Stop,” “Pittsburgh” and “After Hours” as well Chris & Keith’s brilliant off-the-cuff humor.

If you haven’t experienced We Are Scientists in any shape, manner or form, prepare yourself. In between getting info on the new album Barbara, we were filled in on the sexiness of hippos, drinking, LCD Soundsystem, wallet stealing, working with Burt Reynolds and ideas for Master Swan Records. Oh, and there’s more!
The fun thing with Chris and Keith’s answers are that you have to decide for yourself, truth or not. One truth for sure the influence for the “Nice Guys” video. It goes back to the video for the song “Scrape” by the NYC noise rock trio Unsane. It’s the opening track to their 1995 album Scattered, Smothered & Covered. Take a look below and see for yourself.

After Hours Lyrics
This door is always open, this door is always open
No one has the guts to shut us out
But if we have to go now I guess there's always hope that
Some place will be serving after hours
