I've seen this guy live 5 times. He puts on the best show. I remember the first time i saw him, I was at Summerfest (2010) I was on acid, and he played the show with a theremin. It was amazing.

The production is immaculate on Night School - I think losing the lo-fi sound allowed for his pop songwriting to really shine. The amount of instrumentals, codas, interludes, etc add so much personality too. I get strong Daft Punk circa Homework vibes at times. V excited for what he does next~

Nah he's obviously transcended all those meaningless Bandcamp genres. Unlike """future funk""" artists, he uses very few samples on Night School and those that are included are mostly just used as sound effects, such as the Italian speaker and beat at the end of Slumlord

Night school is the best of their albums. Polish Girl is a great Tune, but couldn't get into their other stuff before, but Night School clicked with me.
