BoA, originally titled Look Who's Talking, is the debut eponymous English studio album by BoA and her 12th overall. It was released on March 17, 2009 in the United States. In Japan the album was boxed with her second greatest hits, BEST&USA, as a 2-in-1 CD.

Rumors of BoA's english debut began in 2007, with BoA's Korean record label (SM Entertainment) officially announcing the plan to enter the American market in September of 2008. With the album, BoA hoped to become a "world-renowned entertainer" in the vein of Janet Jackson and Britney Spears. It was announced a month later that Eat You Up would be the lead single. BoA worked with world-renown producers such as Bloodshy & Avant, Brian Kennedy and Sean Garrett, the latter of which is featured on one of the songs of the album.

The album had a total of three official singles. The lead single, Eat You Up, was released October 21, 2008 to massive commercial success. It peaked at #8 on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and was praised by critics worldwide. As of 2023, the track is cited as one of the major moving factors to the Korean cultural wave and holds a strong legacy and impact on Korean pop music. The second single, I Did It For Love, was released on June 2, 2009 and features a verse from producer, Sean Garrett. The track peaked at #19 on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. The third and final single, Energetic, was released on July 21, 2009.

Commercially, the album faired well in the American market, debuting on the US Billboard 200 chart at #127 and on the US Top Heatseekers at #3. It remains as a legacy album for Korean music, as it was one of the first full length English albums by a Korean artist. In order to promote the album, BoA performed at multiple events in the US during the promotional cycle of the album.
