Tyla Laura Seethal, known professionally as Tyla, is a South African singer, songwriter and dancer from Johannesburg. She signed to Epic Records in 2021 after the domestic success of her debut single "Getting Late" featuring Kooldrink. Tyla rose to international prominence with her 2023 single "Water", which gained popularity on TikTok following a viral dance challenge.
Tyla is the also name of other artists:
1. Tyla, founding member, vocalist and guitarist with The Dogs D'Amour, has also released several solo records. He is also known as a poet and artist.
He recorded a live album with Dregen under the name The Poet & the Dragon.
2009 Tyla released double cd "Bloody Hell Fire" under the name Tyla & The Dogs.
